This 4-ingredient homemade DIY setting spray recipe has a secret ingredient- so it doubles as a natural skin nourishing spray!
This homemade setting spray keeps makeup in place, even in hot humid conditions. You’re simply going to love using this multi-purpose beauty product this summer – even if you don’t wear makeup.
In the summer, makeup tends to melt right off of my face. It seems to always happen to my nose-first. Not only do I have an oily t-zone, but I also have fair skin with red undertones.
Also, if you have fair skin then you know just how easy it is to get an unintentional sunburn. So not only are we dealing with the excess oil and sweat dogging our complexion throughout summer, getting too much sun is a concern as well.
Because sunburns need moisture to help promote healing, finding the right balance for your face amidst the excess production of oil and sweat during summer can be a challenge.
This is especially true when makeup is also involved. As a woman, I’m sure you’ve faced some of this same beauty and skincare issues yourself.
I created a simple and natural DIY makeup setting spray in order to help end the struggle with keeping makeup in place during the hot summer months.
I had several things in mind when formulating my natural makeup setting spray recipe.
Not only did I want this setting spray to keep my makeup in place, but I also wanted it to double as a natural skin care product to revive, soothe, and hydrate skin.
Why these ingredients in this homemade setting spray?
My natural makeup setting spray recipe contains just four simple ingredients. So it’s incredibly easy to make.
It’s also the perfect addition to your daily, holistic beauty routine.
Rose hydrosol, also known as rose water, is my secret ingredient that really makes the difference in this product and takes it to the next level.
Due to the addition of rose hydrosol, my natural makeup setting spray recipe has additional skin-soothing, moisturizing, and toning benefits.
Plus, it helps your makeup to stay on your face right where it should be!
Even if you don’t wear cosmetics you can still use this natural makeup setting spray as a facial mist for skin hydration.
It’s also wonderful at soothing sunburns and can help deter acne. So I encourage you to give my homemade DIY setting spray a try!
