Homemade Peppermint Foot Soak and Scrub Recipe

This simple peppermint foot scrub can be used both as a foot soak and to exfoliate the feet. It’s soothing and cooling, and is the perfect home remedy for dry, rough, cracked feet!

Materials

Instructions

  • Combine Epsom salts and baking soda in a medium bowl.
  • Stir gently to mix dry ingredients.
  • Melt coconut oil and pour over dry mixture.
  • Add peppermint oil one drop at a time while gently stirring the mixture.
  • Stir until well mixed. 
  • Store in an airtight container. 

Notes

  • How to use as a foot scrub: use 1/4 cup of the scrub and massage into wet feet. Rinse well and put on socks to seal the moisture in.
  • How to use as a foot soak: use 1/4 cup of the recipe in 2 quarts of warm water. Soak feet for 10-15 minutes. Use the scrub after to remove all dead skin and calluses. Put on socks to seal the moisture in.
  • This scrub/soak will keep for at least 6 months (as long as no water or water-based ingredients get into the mix.)
